How to Use

Rinse GFO with fresh water or RO/DI water before use to remove loose particles. Place the media in a suitable media reactor or filter media bag where aquarium water can flow through it.

When using a reactor, adjust the flow so the surface of the media gently moves without aggressively tumbling. Monitor aquarium phosphate levels regularly and replace the media when phosphate levels begin to rise.

For best results, avoid rapidly lowering elevated phosphate levels. Start with a smaller amount of media and increase gradually as needed.
